This one-day creative course is great for working stylists looking to refine and develop skills and want to think creatively and cut outside the box.

Style academy lectures are fully qualified with city and guilds and both experienced assessors, with 40 years’ experience between them.

• Health and safety 

• Client consultation

• Review of restyling techniques

• Covering a range of asymmetry, disconnections and creative techniques combined to make commercial styles

• Product and tool information

• Demonstration from educator

• Learning different cutting techniques with scissors, thinning scissors & razor.

• Price guidance 

• Create your own cuts on a 16inch training head

• Be able to provide the correct aftercare

 

You will leave confident, inspired and be able to look at any style and know where to start.

 

Some tools and products will be supplied on the day, please bring your own scissors, thinning scissors, razor, combs and brushes. (kit is available if needed)

You will need to bring along a 16inch long training head mannequin. (we are able to supply if necessary, at a supplement charge)

Tea and coffee are supplied, lunch not included. You will have a 30-minute lunch break during the day.

 

To book onto this course you must have your NVQ / VRQ level 3 in hairdressing. Proof is required.

Students must come in smart professional clothing (closed toe shoes)
